Trivia[edit]
- This is the first time in any Simpsons media that Lionel Hutz and Troy McClure have met and spoke to each other. The two have appeared in episodes together but rarely in the same scene. When they do meet Troy says that he likes Hutz cause he's got "moxie" this may allude to them both being voiced by Phil Hartman in the show.
Cultural references[edit]
- The title is a play on the name of the 1985 film The Purple Rose of Cairo.
