Website Information
|
simpsonsworld.com, or Simpsons World, was a streaming website owned by FOX that allowed users in the USA to stream episodes of The Simpsons.
Description[edit]
To watch episodes, American users must had have an FX account. To get one, you would need to have a USA TV provider, meaning nobody outside of the USA can even use the services.
Without an account, users could watch clips and view episode information and character information. Along with episodes and clips, there are also commentaries and episode scripts on the website.
Following the Michael Jackson incident with the HBO Documentary Leaving Neverland, the episode "Stark Raving Dad" was permanently removed from all official streaming, including Simpsons World.
Due to the acquisition of 21st Century Fox by the Walt Disney Company and the announcement of the show being included in the Disney+ streaming service which launched on November 12, 2019,[1] Simpsons World was discontinued as the episodes minus Stark Raving Dad were moved to Disney+.[2][3]
