My Favorite "Homer Moments"
Remeber when Homer was trying to stop Bart from jumping Springfield Gorge?
Homer 'accidentally attempts the stunt himself, and almost makes it, but ends up tumbling head-over-heels down the gorge's face. This {falling) goes
on and on, and with each impact, Homer's injuries become more and more
gruesome - all the while, Homer is shouting "D'oh; yeow; owh" and the like.
He's then lifted by hellicopter to the top of the gorge in a streacher - though
his head continues to collide with the rock face all the up. Homer is placed into
an ambulance, which sounds its siren and speeds away - only to crash into a tree
after a few feet. Homer is ejected from the back of the ambulance and - still on
the stracher (with its legs and wells extended) - rolls to the end of the cliff and
tumbles back down the gorge - traiing an I.V. bag that's conected to his arm.
