== Trivia ==
*This is the second time Homer tries to jump off the only bridge out of town, the first being "[[Homer's Odyssey]]", but in that episode he never got near the bridge, whereas he did in this one.
*The snowman in front of the [[Springfield Retirement Castle]] is wearing glasses and using a walker.
*The sign at the bridge Homer jumps off of says: "Suicide Bridge: In Memory of Governor Chester L. Suicide".
*When Homer says "I'm a genius", Krusty is shown sitting at a table and he is colored yellow instead of having on his usual white clown makeup.
*Homer's "memories" are just screenshots of every single episode of the show that came before this one, even including non-canon episodes.
*On what was called The BOX (now SKY 5) in New Zealand, this episode didn't finally air until Christmas Day 2009, due to a slight delay in the rotation, which was caused by a random mix-up of episodes (and when they were meant to premiere).
