'''Toussaint Charbonneau''' was a French fur trader and the husband of [[Sacagawea]].

== History ==
When [[Meriwether Lewis]] and [[William Clark]] went to an Indian village to recruit a guide, [[Sacagawea]], Sacagawea sarcastically said that she'd be sad to leave her husband. Charbonneau told Sacagawea that he'd come with her as the darkness scares him if he's alone. [[Chief Homer]] then said that he didn't know why he sold Sacagawea to him.

Later, when the Lewis and Clark expedition met an Indian group led by [[Indian Bart]], Sacagawea's brother, Charbonneau told Indian Bart that he hadn't seen him since he killed all of Indian Bart's buffalo. Indian Bart then killed Charbonneau, with Sacagawea's blessing.

Later, when Sacagawea got annoyed at Lewis and Clark, she stormed off. Lewis then said that she'd be back as she forgot her husband, holding up Charbonneau's skull.
