== Synopsis ==
[[Bart]], [[Lisa]] and [[Maggie]] go to the movie to see ''[[Return of the Happy Little Elves]]'' (much to Bart's dismay), but Bart convinces the girls to see ''[[Revenge of the Space Mutants]]'' instead. However, Bart ends up being scared by it.

== Plot ==
As Bart, Lisa and Maggie are going to the [[Aztec Theater]], Lisa is chanting "We're going to a movie!" Bart tells her to grow up. Lisa says she is glad to see the ''Happy Little Elves'' return, but Bart isn't. Lisa asks him which elf is his favorite, but Bart doesn't say which. Lisa thinks he is like [[Gloomy]], the self-hating elf, which makes Bart even more annoyed. Lisa whispers that he looks like Gloomy too.

When the kids arrive at the theater, Lisa and Maggie are looking at the ''Return of the Happy Little Elves'' poster, while Bart is looking at the ''Revenge of the Space Mutants'' poster. Lisa says that movie is way too scary, but Bart buys some tickets anyway. He claims one day they will thank him for this. Just before the movie starts, Bart informs them about what will happen in the movie, death rays, flying saucers and giant eyeballs. Lisa and Maggie are both now scared. He says he will hold their hand if it gets too scary.

The movie starts with a flying saucer flying down on to the Earth. An ugly alien, resembling Bart, comes out of it. Bart starts screaming, terrified, and the girls hold his hand.
