David was a robot boy created by Boys R Us who was bought by Homer and Marge to replace Bart when he was in a coma. He quickly proved to be preferable to Bart as he was more well behaved and had a number of extra functions such as recycling old clothes into toys. He was eventually destroyed by Bart to remove the competition.
Behind the Laughter
- He is based off the robot boy of the same name from the movie A.I. Artificial Intelligence.
