Connie Mack was an American baseball player and manager.

History

At the Nuclear Plant Employee, Spouses and No More than Three Children Night, after telling a player the hitter's off his rocker, kissing Betty Crocker, Mr. Burns told Homer at he used to rile Connie Mack with that one at old Shibe Park.[1]

When Lisa starts to coach the Springfield Isotots, she encountered resistance. She said to the players that there have been several female managers in baseball, mentioning Connie Mack, Sandy Alomar, Terry Francona and Pinky Higgins before she is told they were all dudes.[2]
