The Hold-Up That Made a Hero Out of Mac is a Radioactive Man comic ad first printed in Radioactive Man #1.
Plot[edit]
In an advert on how to become a superhero, we see the origin of a superhero. When Mac was a child, his parents were killed by a robber. He vows to get him one day and reads an Atlasman advert. 15 years later, he's ready to get the robber and takes him out.
The ad then asks you to send in $10 and give 15 years of your time to become a costumed vigilante.
