Mr. Burns to the Rescue is a Simpsons Comics One-Shot Wonders story first printed in The Malevolent Mr. Burns #1.
Mr. Burns is yelling on Waylon Smithers for several things during the day, but he never appearance. After a while starting Burns thinking about when he last saw him. It was yesterday when he asked Smithers to fetch his left-handed bacon stretcher. Smithers then laughs about it because it does not exist. Burns then becomes angry and says tell him it exists and is a family heirloom and Smithers began looking for it. Burns believes that he must have got lost in the house underground catacombs and he goes there to get him. Burns go down to the catacombs and he find him locked in a cage hanging from the ceiling. In the same room is a large monster who tells Smithers to trepassers must deal with the death and while he is about to sharpen the knife asking Burns the monster what he does, the monster becomes angry and are going to kill Burns but stops when he sees that the man who asked what is going on is Burns. He apologizes and explains that he didn't recognize him. Burns asks if he has seeing his left-haned bacon streatcher and the monster and tell him that he has seen it and pick it up for Burns. Burns then invites everyone from the catacombs at breakfast and they honor him then and tell him at he is the best boss in the world.
