Homer Simpson: Chick Magnet is a Bart Simpson story first printed in Bart Simpson #52.

Synopsis[edit]

Bart finds out that women are attracted to Homer when he has a comic book in his back pocket.

Plot[edit]

Homer has just bought donuts for himself and a comic book for Bart. Bart threatens to tell Marge that he bought a bag of donuts unless Homer buys him a second comic book, so Homer takes the comic from Bart and throws it in the trash can. Bart takes the comic out and hides it in Homer's back pocket so he doesn't see it. As they walk home, a woman notices Homer and tells him that he's handsome. Bart lets her know that Homer's already married, and Homer and Bart walk away, with the woman trying to say she's an influential film producer. As they continue walking home, a woman and her daughter approach Homer, and the woman says that Homer must be a TV star and tells him that her daughter is an aspiring TV star as well. The daughter sings "Jeepers Creepers", but when Homer mentions his name, the woman takes her daughter and runs off.

Homer then bumps into a blonde woman who thinks that she and Homer "tangoed" at Palm Beach. Homer says that he can't remember that, despite the woman insisting it happened. Homer and Bart continue on their way home when Bart decides to do a test. He introduces Homer to a strong woman, who is uninterested until she sees the comic in his back pocket. She says that Homer might have what it takes and starts wrestling with him. The comic falls out of his pocket as she does this, which immediately causes her to lose interest. Bart keeps hold of the comic as part of an experiment, and a girl his age shows interest in him, so Bart puts the comic back in Homer's pocket. A large group of women see Homer and start chasing after him, so Bart takes the comic and throws it at them, which immediately causes them to lose interest in Homer and Bart.

Homer and Bart make it home, where Bart talks about the comic attracting women while Marge and Lisa are confused over what he's talking about. Marge says that Homer could use a snack and reveals a plate of homemade donuts, which she accidentally made too many of. Despite eating a bag of donuts earlier, Homer quickly starts eating these donuts.
