First appearance: "MyPods and Boomsticks"

"diePod Slaylist" is an episode of The Itchy & Scratchy Show. It was available for viewing exclusively through MyTunes. Lisa, Sherri, and Terri watch it on Lisa's MyPod.

Plot[edit]

Scratchy is walking down the street listening to his MyPod. Itchy turns up the volume so loud that Scratchy's head swells up and his eyes explode out of his head. Finally, Scratchy's brain melts and he collapses to the sidewalk. As Scratchy kneels on the sidewalk reaching around blindly for his brain, Itchy puts Albert Einstein's brain in front of him. Scratchy finds Einstein's brain and puts it into his head.

Now much smarter, Scratchy works at a chalkboard full of equations and invents the atomic bomb. Then Scratchy is on a ship at sea witnessing a test of the bomb and is awed (and stricken with guilt) when he realizes the bomb's destructive power. A guilt-ridden Scratchy then invents a time machine and goes back in time with the inention of preventing himself from inventing the atomic bomb. When he arrives in the past, he sees himself standing at the chalkboard. When he approaches his past self, however, he notices that "past-Scratchy" is actually a disguised atomic bomb, placed as a trap by Itchy.

Itchy watches from a distance as the bomb explodes, presumably killing Scratchy. Then Itchy steps into his own time machine, activates it, and emerges at Studio 54 in the 1970s.

Trivia[edit]
