Bart's Short Cut is a Bart Simpson story first printed in Bart Simpson #73.

Synopsis[edit]

Bart's short cut to the movies turns out to be not so short after all.

Plot[edit]

Bart and Lisa hurries to the theater for Itchy and Scratchy in 3-D which has its premiere in two minutes but when they go to cross the street to the theater, it is rush hour, and Lisa tells Bart that they can not cross the street so they have to go at intersection. Bart ignores Lisa's idea and tells her they have no time so he climbs up on a pole and takes a funicular tour with his skateboard to the other side, but he has to much speed and collides into a tree. Bart climbs down the tree and sees that Lisa has already arrived at the cinema and he does not understand why, she tells him that he has passed out for two hours and the movie is over.
