The Field of Excellence is a song for the First Annual Montgomery Burns Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Field of Excellence in Brother, Can You Spare Two Dimes?. The music was written by Alf Clausen and the lyrics collectively by Al Jean, Jay Kogen, Jeff Martin, Mike Reiss,and Wallace Wolodarsky. It is the fourteenth track on the album Go Simpsonic with the Simpsons.
