In "Scenes from the Class Struggle in Springfield", Ogdenville is the home of the Ogdenville Outlet Mall which the Simpsons visit once, although the driving trip apparently takes several hundred miles over nearly impassable desert roads. Ogdenville was mentioned in Coming to Homerica as Springfield's neighbor to the SouthEast. In the same episode it is also described as the State's Barley Basket - indicating that it and SpringField *do* in fact share a state'; it also suggests that it's economy is driven by farming.
