Title

The title obviously comes from the redneck legend of "An Old Jed House," or in its more common known form of just The Jed House.

Plot

Template:Spoiler While on a field trip to the JED Mills, Jim angers Slade, distracting him and he ends up breaking something, which causes him to get fired. But just when Ivonne stops Slade from killing Jim, he notices there is a stop sign just waiting to be stolen. He becomes a property vandal and leads to the death of many people. Eventually, he abandons his evil and gets rehired at the mill with plastic balls.

Triva

• This is the first apperance of Slade's made-up creature called the Swerving Pig.
• The first time we see Mr. Jed's office, it was considerably less evil]looking compared to later episodes.
• One of the signs Slade puts up says: "Demon of God."
