Godfrey Jones (voiced by Harry Shearer is the host of the tabloid news program Rock Bottom and appeared in "Homer Badman". In the episode, Homer is accused of sexually harrassing babysitter Ashley Grant, when in reality he was only trying to grab a Gummi Venus de Milo that was stuck to her pants. After this, Homer is picketed by protestors who label him as a monster. Homer receives a call from Jones (who introduces himself "Homer, this is God.... frey Jones") who says he wants to help. Homer is interviewed by Jones, but Rock Bottom edits his interview to make it look like he is admitting "grabbing her can" and does its best to make Homer look evil.
