Francine Joy "Fran" Drescher (born September 30, 1957) is an American actress, comedienne, director, and producer, best known for her role as Fran Fine in The Nanny. She voiced the Female Golem in the season 18 episode "Treehouse of Horror XVII". The segment references her distinctive voice when the Simpsons first hear the Female Golem speak and Homer wants to chop her up with an axe due to her voice.
