Donny's most prominent character traits are his mischievousness, rebelliousness, disrespect for authority and sharp tongue. Donny was used by Seymour Skinner and Super Intendent Chalmers to snitch on Bart's plans. He becomes best friends with Bart at the end of the episode The Debarted, the episode also marked his first appearance.

Role in The Simpsons

He is the current now best friend of Bart Simpson. He was snitching on Bart and telling Skinner and Chalmers all of his plans, but Bart suspects that the snitcher is Milhouse so they beat him up and lock him up and leave him in a locker, soon Bart finds out Donny is the snitch and take him to a factory full of Diet Coke and Mentos. Seymour Skinner and Gary Chalmers come and take Bart away, Donny furiously, sets of the Diet Coke and Mentos/Polo off and making the factory explode.
