TV Show Information
|
McGarnigale is a TV series where the title character McGarnigale is a policeman who solves crimes during his spare time.
History
Homer became angry when he overidentified with McGarnigle, and Lisa told him to sit down.[1] A display for the show was seen in the Museum of TV and Television.[2]
Plot
In one episode of the show, almost every line included "McGarnigle" somewhere. McGarnigle was framed for a crime he did not commit, and only one witness could clear his name—a little sissy boy named Billy, who was too scared to come forward. Later, his chief dressed him down because Billy was dead; he had slit his throat from ear to ear.
The character of McGarnigle's chief is the same as the captain from the McBain action movies.
Behind the Laughter
McGarnigale's lead is a parody of Clint Eastwood particularly in his Dirty Harry movies.
