Simpsons Comics 1 was the first Simpsons Comics. In most countries it contained The Amazing Colossal Homer and Bart Simpson's Creepy Crawly Tales "The Collector".

Bart Simpson's Creepy Crawly Tales "The Collector"

- The Collector's butler, Smedley, leaves to visit his aging mother, leaving him alone. The climate control in his comic vault malfunctions and he attempts to fix it himself. His dog causes the vault door to slam shut on him, trapping him inside. The cilamte control begins dropping and he must burn his treasured comic book collection to survive. By doing this, he goes psychotic.
