Hey, Hshelt2. Thanks for your comment on my page. Double redirects are so annoying because they are so common and can easily be fixed. I think people leave them because either the page they were linking to became a redirect page (this can be prevented if the person changing the page uses the "What links here" feature), they didn't bother to use the | notation, or they simply didn't check to see whether they were linking to a real page. I generally try to fix all the double redirects I come across. I've made a lot of double redirect fixes (as well as fixing a few links to disambiguation pages) on the original Wikipedia (user name=Propower). In any case, if you find a user who frequently creates double redirects, you should let them know what they can do about it-and be courteous when you are doing so. On most pages not having to do with mathematics (the field in which I specialize), fixing technical issues, spelling, and grammar is the extent of my ability to help.
