Portion Time is the lunch that John Glenn eats when he's not in space. It has a brainteaser called Professor Provolone's Picto-Puzzle on the back and comes vacuum packed.
History
Lisa once ate the vegetarian lunch, which came with apple sauce, at school. She and her classmates tried to complete the brainteaser and everybody managed to do it, except Lisa. She spent several hours trying to solve the puzzle and became very frustrated with her lack of success. After finding out the truth behind the Simpson gene she was finally able to figure out the answer.
Sociology
Nelson violated a social norm when he stabbed the box with a fork. Hearing Lisa say that it is not Prince's names is different because Prince is dead. When this episode was released, going to a public college for 4 years was cheaper than buying a new Cadillac.
