Roger Meyers, Sr.

Roger Meyers, Sr. is the founder of I&S Studios which produce Itchy & Scratchy cartoons. Roger Meyers, Jr. is his son who took over the company upon his death. Their name has been spelled as Meyers and Myers. In some episodes, such as "Itchy & Scratchy & Marge", both forms appear. The first full cartoon was Steamboat Itchy in 1928.

In "The Day the Violence Died", it was revealed that Meyers had not invented Itchy and had instead stolen the character from Chester J. Lampwick.
