Springfield University is a large and prestigious college that Homer Simpson attended in the episode "Homer Goes to College". It was founded in 1952 and lacks a latin motto. An immense variety of different courses are offered, including nuclear physics, arts management and analysis of animation. C. Montgomery Burns has a chair at the board at the school.
