Ogdenville

Ogdenville is a city that may be in Springfield's State and is first mentioned by Lyle Lanley as a tows to which he's sold monorail systems in the episode Marge vs. the Monorail. Ogdenville has also been mentioned in other episodes. In "Scenes from the Class Struggle in Springfield", Ogdenville is the home of the Ogdenville Outlet Mall which the Simpsons visit once, although the driving trip apparently takes several hundred miles over nearly impassable desert roads. Ogdenville was mentioned in the last episode of the current season as Springfield's neighbor to the SouthEast. In the same episode it is also described as the State's Barley Basket - indicating that it and SpringField *do* in fact share a state. In "Homerica" Ogdenville's economy crumbles due to tainted veggie burgers, suggesting that it's economy is driven by farming.
