Junk Mail
Wikisimpsons - The Simpsons Wiki
Junk Mail is a regular feature in Simpsons Comics. Readers send in artwork and letters to "Junk Mail Guy" who then answers them in the comic.
USA and Australia Edition
Junk Mail was introduced in the first issue but was discontinued in issue #114. It was brought back in issue #186 to coincide with the change in the comics' design.
UK Edition
Junk Mail has been ongoing since the second issue. It also has additional features not included in the American edition:
- Star Prize - The best letter or artwork sent in each issue. The sender is rewarded with a prize, usually The Simpsons related merchandise.
- Springfield Multiplex - Readers send in parodies of movies featuring characters from The Simpsons. A Star Prize is given to the best entry.
- Springfield Cable Network - Almost identical to Springfield Multiplex but instead featuring parodies of television shows.
- Springfield Arcade - Readers send in parodies of video games featuring characters from The Simpsons. One piece of artwork is published every issue.
- From the Shelves of the Android's Dungeon - Readers send in cover ideas for an issue of Simpsons Comics.
Junk Mail Guy
The Junk Mail Guy is the editor of Junk Mail. His name remains a mystery and many people have asked or taken a guess at it and not succeeded. He has a reputation of being very sarcastic. "Junk Mail Guy" regularly changes but possible people include:
- Paul T, who left the comic #109
- Martin Eden, who replaced him
