The Principal of the Thing is a comic story which first appeared in Simpsons Comics #84. It was released in July 2003. The story was later reprinted in the collection Simpsons Comics Dollar$ to Donuts.
Synopsis
Superintendent Chalmers fired? Principal Skinner promoted? Has the world gone crazy? Well, we are pretty sure the Springfield School Board knows what they are doing. It's not like they would hire just anyone off the street to run Springfield Elementary, would they? Yup.
