Bart Hears a What? is a Simpsons Comics story that appears in Bart Simpson 41. The comic has later get reprint in Bart Simpson: Prince of Pranks.
Plot
Mrs. Krabappel tells the class it is "Old Dodger Day" the next day, but Bart brings in Mike Piazza because he heard "Old Dodger Day". The next day, Bart tells the class about the "United Snakes of America" when he was supposed to do a report on the "United States of America", which prompts Mrs. Krabappel to call Marge and tell her that Bart needs his hearing checked. At the hospital, Dr. Hibbert finds a fortune cookie, and a dollop of meatloaf with Marge's wedding ring in Bart's ears. At home, Bart can hear more than he used to, and he gets fed up with hearing things all the time, so he puts wax in his ears, and he brings in a skunk for "Show and Tell Day", or to his knowledge, "Show and Smell Day".
