Springfield Volunteer Fire Department

The Springfield Volunteer Fire Department is Springfield's Fire fighting Department, which as the name implies, is a volunteer organization. They had a Dalmation, but apparently cannot serve any real use outside of being a mascot because, in fellow member Moe Szyslak's words, "he is so inbred he can barely even stand."
