History

The nuclear physics professor was lecturing about proton accelerators when Homer arrogantly interrupted, calling him "Professor Brainiac," and explained that he had worked in a nuclear power plant for ten years and knew how a proton accelerator worked. The professor remained calm and graciously invited Homer to show the class. Homer's demonstration caused another meltdown.
