The Ren & Stimpy Show is an animated television series.

History

Bart and Tom watch an episode where Ren receives a meal from Stimpy, who thought it was delicious meatball soup. Stimpy then reveals that it is a collection of his fur balls in stomach acid. A shocked Ren gets angry and accuses Stimpy of trying to kill him, after which Ren's eyes come out of his sockets and explode, much to Bart and Tom's amusement.^[1]

The Ren & Stimpy Show is one of several animated shorts nominated for an award, competing against The Itchy & Scratchy Show.^[2]

While referencing The Itchy & Scratchy Show's habit of recycling animation to make new episodes, Lisa said that Ren & Stimpy also did that.^[3]
