Municipal Roundtable is an American television talk show. It features a panel-discussion format where the panelists talk about public affairs issues.

History[edit]

When Homer skipped church one Sunday, he started to watch TV and flipped through channels, saying, "Come on, TV, give me some of that sweet, sweet pap!" as he closed his eyes and chose a channel at random. He ended up on the channel showing Municipal Roundtable, where the panelists were involved in a discussion about redistricting vs. reapportionment. The program was not to Homer's liking, however, and he philosophically said, "Oh, well, can't win 'em all." Immediately after that, the program was interrupted for a football game. Homer was very happy about the change and danced in jubilation around the living room.
