Colm Meaney is an Irish actor. He is best known for his rols as Chief Miles O'Brien on Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Outside of Star Trek, Meaney has a successful film career and many television guest appearances.

On The Simpsons, Meaney guest-starred in the episode "In the Name of the Grandfather", providing the voice of pub owner Tom O'Flanagan.
