Lisa: Stop! Stop murdering the grass!
Bart: I'm just giving the blades a trim, Lisa. I'm not murdalizing 'em. Have you flipped your lid? It's just grass, and mowing it is how I get my allowance.
Lisa: Unlike you, the lawn is an ethical life form! I'll pay you to not mow it.
Bart: Sweet! But you'll have to square this with Homer because I don't get it.
Lisa: Okay.

Lisa: Plants and algae are the only life on Earth that don't get energy by killing other life forms. They get energy from the sun and nutrient's from the Earth and sky.
Homer: And this concerns me, how?
Lisa: Plants can even create ovicides to kill the eggs of bugs that lay eggs on their leaves.
Homer: That's pretty smart. It's a good thing I don't eat 'em. They might want revenge.

Bart: So what the heck till you eat? You already don't eat anything that swims, flies, or grows hair.
Lisa: That's a good question. Oh, why can't I perform photosynthesis like plants do? There's so much to learn from plants. They are the most ethical life form on the planet.

Homer: Ohhh. plants sad. Plants might get angry.
Lisa: Yes, it is sad that we took their lives.
Marge: What are you talking about?
Bart: Lisa thinks eating plants is murder now. I agree. I refuse to eat these vegetables. I say we take them outside and give them a proper burial.
Lisa: Yes, then they would return nutrients to the soil and pass them on to other plants. They won't ahvae died in vain.
Marge: Lisa, honey, there's nothing wrong with eating plants.

Bart: Eat up, Lis. You'll need the energy to get those plants on their feet.
Lisa: Thanks, Bart. I guess you're right. And thanks for the nice breakfast, mom.
