You're a Hero

You're a Hero is a song that Homer sings off-screen during a montage of him stealing Christmas presents in 'Tis the Fifteenth Season. It is a parody of the song "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch" from the early '60s animated TV special Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas!. The original music was written by Albert Hague and its original lyrics by Ted Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss. The parody lyrics were written by Michael Price.

Lyrics

You're a hero, Homer Jay.
You're as crafty as a skunk.
They'll thank you in the morning
For stealing Flanders' junk,
Homer Jay.
You're a double bacongeniusburger
And just a little drunk.
