The "X" Men is a Simpsons Comics story that appears in Simpsons Comics #118.

After being sent to the Principal's office for switching the teacher's regular coffee with decaffeinated coffee Bart finds Skinner is still depressed over Edna dumping him. Bart suggests surrounds himself with even bigger losers then himself and so Skinner joins a support group for the recently heartbroken lead by Dr. Nick. Comic Book Guy (dumped by Agnes) tells of his dreadful speed dating (in which he passed out from all the exercise), Skinner tells of his date with Myrtle, a woman who looks very similar to his own mother, and Patty tells of her rejection from the She-She Lounge. Before Kirk Van Houten has a chance to tell his depressing story Otto crashes the school bus into the Community College. The building is collapsing and it is up to the club to rescue an injured Otto. Doing this gives them an adrenaline rush and so the group do activities like snowboarding, treasure hunting and police officer taunting to make themselves feel better about themselves. They soon form the "Springfield Heartbroken Adventures Club" where many of Springfield's singles turn up as well as Homer, who is promptly rejected due to being happily married.
