Synopsis

The students at the Springfield Elementary School is giving a foregin pen pal and will have a presentation about the country next month. Lisa is delighted to write her first letter to Svetlana in Lichtenslava while Bart does not care somuch over his pen pal. Lisa asks Bart to post her first letter, Bart opens it and decides to not post it and decides to respond her as Svetlana. Lisa gets after a week a response letter, she learns that in Lichtenslava is snail mail lame, they fishing with gummy worms, they have deated the martians in 1957 and tuch ears instead of shaking hands.
Lisa is astonished over the letter she received, Bart tell her to respect others culture and send a reply. Bart responds to the letter as Svetlana, he says at they has bobsleeding in schoool and their national anthem is played on the kazoo and they have a Festival of chafing. In the next letter to Lisa he write at Generalissimo Monsanto has won the election and eliminate all Wednesdays and into the future he will remove all vowels from their alphabet.
It's time for the presentations of their pen pal and Lisa reveals for the school that she had Bart as pen pal and tell him that she has find the real answers in the letters on Google Search she also find at Svetalana misspelling the name of the country, theyare Squishee stains on the letters and their home address is the return address. Lisa gets an A and Bart a F for he has not time with his pen pal for he was busy with Lisa letter. Bart apologizes to Lisa for what he did. Lisa tell Bart at he should read his answer from his pen pal. Bart reads it and then throw in the garbage when he realizes that the letter is a scam by a "Nigerian Prince".
