While Springfield Heights is the Beverly Hills of Springfield, Recluse Ranch Estates is the equivalent to Martha's Vineyard. Recluse Ranch Estates is the classic upperclass part of town.

It is located next to the Springfield Glen Country Club in the Southwest area of Springfield. To the East of the Estates is the Springfield Cemetery and to the West is The Murderhorn and beyond that the Springfield Badlands. Just North of the Estates is Fort Fragg.

Notable residents include Joe Quimby, Ranier Wolfcastle, and Tracy Lovell. C. Montgomery Burns has his mansion on a hillside above Recluse Ranch Estates.

The Estates are also home to Springwood Minimum Security Prison, Springfield Preparatory School, Rommelwood Military Academy and the Springfield Downs racetrack.
