Smell Your Breath was the Butterfinger commercial that aired on January 1, 1999. Here Bart first said the new slogan, "Bite My Butterfinger!".
Plot
Homer wants to steal Bart's Butterfinger, but Bart bites it instead.

- [For the first time, he said Bite My Butterfinger!. And it all starts off with Homer getting the Butterfinger.]
- Homer: Hoo! Hoo! Hoo! Hoo-hoo! Hoo! Hoo-hoo-hoo!
- [Cut to Butterfinger sequence (shaking effect)]
- Bart (voiceover): Bite my Butterfinger!
- Announcer: From Nestle.
- Bart: All gone, Homie.
- Homer: Can I least smell your breath?
