Michael Nesmith is a former member of The Monkees.
History
When Marge started school, she had a lunchbox with The Monkees on. A girl told her on the school bus that the Monkees didn't write their songs or play their own instruments, and furthermore that "that's not even Michael Nesmith's real hat". That caused Marge to scream.
