What's the Frequency, Simpson? is a comic story featured in Simpsons Comics 17. The comic has later get reprint in Simpsons Comics Strike Back.
Plot
Homer is on the roof and try to fix the TV antenna while Bart can control the remote. Ned tells to Homer at he is using his cable and not need the antenna and Homer gets mad at Bart, but Lisa gets him to calm down. Bart and Lisa goes to the comic book store and passing a TV store where the customers complain on the poor supply. Bart and Lisa decide to contact the Public Access channel to make their own TV shows for change the TV contains. The show is appreciated by viewers and the next day at school let Bart and Lisa their classmates to participate in their television programming. The viewing for the program are soaring and 71% of all viewers in Springfield watch the show. The TV networks are trying to get Bart and Lisa close down the show but they did want that, but they get quickly overworked. Mr. Burns makes a deal with TV giants and get the reverend to speak ill of the Simpson programs, but during the sermon forced the audience him to he change the subject. In the television studio is Bart and Lisa tired and sits on the TV and see Itchy & Scratchy and the like it and Lisa realize that they has working like slaves and not really enjoying life. Bart realizes that it has been too much hardwork and they did not earn a dime. Lisa says they have been crazy to have thought that they can change the TV contains. They discontinued the show and everything return to normal, but Bart proves not quite ready to let it go yet.
