Gary Coleman (February 8, 1968 – May 28, 2010) was an American actor, best known for his role of Arnold Jackson in the American sitcom Diff'rent Strokes.
As a child, Coleman suffered from a congenital kidney disorder. This condition, combined with the effects of the medications used to treat it, limited his growth and caused his face to retain a childlike appearance well into adulthood.
On The Simpsons, Coleman appeared as himself in the episode "Grift of the Magi." He died on May 28, 2010 from an intracranial hemorrhage after suffering a fall, aged 42.
