Mr. Gillick was a man who worked for the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant. He has a wife and a son called Tom. They attend Mr Burns's picnic in There's No Disgrace Like Home, where Tom complains about missing Little League and Mr Burns fires the Mr. Gillick. Smithers says he'll be gone by the tug-of-war. However, when he reappears in Dancin' Homer, he can be seen still working for the Plant as he along with his wife and Tom, attend the Plant get-together at the Springfield War Memorial Stadium.
