Carmen is an opera that was directed by a Boris Csupovski.
History
When Bart cheated on his IQ test, the family went to the opera to watch Carmen. Martin Prince, Jr.'s family were also watching the opera, and didn't like it when the Simpsons started ruining the performance.
When the show started Bart asked Lisa to keep her eye out for the guy with the peanuts. Marge replied, saying that there are no peanuts, which made Homer angry. Bart then started singing alternative lyrics to the music which Homer enjoyed. After a while Homer and Bart started pretending to snore, which also entertained them.
