On a visit to the retirement home, Bart finds a mint copy of an old issue of Radioactive Man, as well as the previous owner of the comic, [[Morty Mann]]. Later that evening, Bart learns that the comic owner is going to have Radioactive Man killed because the comic will gain more interest from kids. Bart becomes Bartman, who attends the comic convention with Morty to try and get the current owner to regret his actions. Bart blackmails him into doing so...and Morty Mann is announced as the writer of the new Radioactive Man comic, ''The Return of Radioactive Man''. Kent finishes his report after the convention, leaving the question, "Who was that masked man?"

Lo, There Shall Come... A Bartman!! is a Simpsons Comics story that appears in Simpsons Comics and Stories. The comic was later reprinted in Bartman And Radioactive Man 1, Simpsons Comics Special Collectors' Edition and Simpsons Illustrated 1.

Plot

Kent Brockman reports that there will be a comic convention where the current owner of the Radioactive Man will be present. On a visit to the retirement home, Bart finds a mint copy of an old issue of Radioactive Man, as well as the previous owner of the comic, Morty Mann. Later that evening, Bart learns that the comic owner is going to have Radioactive Man killed because the comic will gain more interest from kids.
