Dead Homer Society is a The Simpsons blog dedicated to writing about, what they argue as, the very poor quality of current (season 11/12 - present) episodes of the show.

Views

The blog considers itself a home for those who dislike the current seasons of The Simpsons. They consider the first seven seasons as "Classic" Simpsons, the next three as declining in quality, and everything from season 12 onwards as "Zombie Simpsons", something which does not even count as the same show.

Content

The blog updates daily with a Simpsons quote of the day. Weekly the site has a "Reading Digest", which links to various Simpsons-related articles and videos that have appeared in the last week.

The blog also previews the new episodes (often with blood splattered promotional images) and reviews them with a "Crazy Noises" group discussion between, generally, the three founders as well as "Compare and Constrast" posts, which argue that much of the newer episodes are mostly re-hashed material, situations and subject matter from the classic-era of the show, but the classic-era did everything so much better, made far more sense and were much funnier.
