Wikicity Logos

Regarding Wikicities, how do you change the logo for a Wikicity? Having the normal logo for a dedicated Wikicity makes it a bit basic, and I want to make the logo better. Can you tell me how please. Hello, you need to be an admin to upload a logo. Since the original admin on this wiki has never edited here, I've given you admin access so you can upload the logo. Just create a .png file of 155 by 135 pixels. The filename needs to be Wiki.png. See the Administrators' how-to guide if you need any help with the new functions this access gives you. MediaWiki namespace

Mini-wiki?

You can do that (although it's best to adapt them, rather than just copy them - there is no point to a duplicate resource). You need to stick to the conditions of the GFDL though, which means (at the simplest level) attribution and a link to the Wikipedia authors. Hi, I've moved you up to bureaucrat - which means that you can make other contributors sysops. I've also added Thai420 as a sysop to help out. Of course you can use it here! I'm only asking you, if you could in the page of the Image, put some reference about wikisimpson in Portuguese or my UserPage. And congratulations for your idea of creating a wiki about Simpsons. Without this, I wouldn't have the enthusiasm to create it in Portuguese. Although it have almost no good articles in it, I'm inviting any one who speaks Portuguese to enter it and contribute with something. Official Friends of Simpsons Wiki

Hello, I think I should tell you right now, I am sorry about my signature. I haven't gotten around to fix it yet. But anyway, I would like to know if you are looking for any "Official Friends"? I am an administrator at a wiki called SWGames. It deals with the gaming universe of Star Wars. We started January 3, 2007, and we currently have about 200 articles. But we have yet to get many users. I feel that if we were to become friends with this wiki, we could really get some new users. I find this wiki really great! Current WikiSimpsons status and activity re vandalism

Hi ... I'm new here, though I have done a little minor tweaking on Wikipedia before. What is the current status of this wiki? There is no central forum (that I could find), and it took some poking around to find out who is in charge [I think that's you, M Johnson 8-). The help page was empty (I reverted that to the previous non-empty version). There are a number of other empty pages I found, blanked by the same anonymous user about a month ago. Is there a way to block an anonymous user's IP address? Obviously, it won't stop them, but will slow them down a bit. And what are the criteria for protecting frequently-vandalized pages, and how does a newbie request such protection? Thx --BartFan 19:00, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
