The book is on the non-fiction shelf at Springfield Library.[2]

Behind the Laughter

  • The book is a pun on the women's health book Our Bodies, Ourselves, which was first published in 1971 and has had several editions since then. One edition (to which Homer's copy of The New Our Caddies, Ourselves bears a strong resemblance) appeared in the 1990s and was titled The New Our Bodies, Ourselves and subtitled A Book By and For Women.
