Rhea Jo Perlman (born March 31, 1948) is an Emmy Award-winning American actress and writer, best known for her role as Carla Tortelli in Cheers. She reprised the role of Carla Tortelli in the season 6 episode "Fear of Flying". She is married to Danny DeVito.
Rhea Perlman was voted joint 20th in IGN's "Top 25 Simpsons Guest Appearances" along with Cheers co-stars Ted Danson, Woody Harrelson, George Wendt, and John Ratzenberger.
